Erasmus+ Mobility in Athens – a week full of inspiring activities! From March 9–13, 2026, students and teachers from our school participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program at DES Primary School in Koropi, Greece. The trip, part of the „SEN Games” project, provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, explore new teaching methods, and integrate internationally.
The first days of mobility began with a formal welcome to the partner school and a campus tour. Teachers participated in a seminar on the IB PYP program, and students had the opportunity to observe English lessons. The following hours featured classes and workshops on the use of artificial intelligence in education and the inclusion of students with special educational needs. The international Kahoot Relay Race quiz also provided shared integration.
On the second day, participants participated in the „One Message, Many Ways” workshop and observed lessons in various fields, including STEM, art, and yoga. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about the work methods of Greek teachers and exchange best educational practices. Subsequent meetings included observations of outdoor math and English lessons and a seminar on gamification in education, demonstrating how to increase student engagement through playful elements. Participants also participated in a cultural workshop, during which they made traditional Greek Martaki bracelets, symbolizing the arrival of spring.
The mobility program also included learning about Greek culture and traditions. Participants took part in a culinary walk around the city and visited the Herakleidon Museum, where they learned about the achievements of the ancient Greeks in science, art, and technology.
